How to wash

Rinse with cold water
No need to soak it, just run it under cold water until the water runs clear.

Machine wash cold
At a maximum of 40° and it's best to put it in a laundry bag. There's no problem if you wash your period panty with other clothes.

No fabric softener or stain remover
These products saturate and break down the natural fibers of the absorbent fabric.

Let air dry in the sun
Avoid the dryer or use it on a delicate cycle, at the lowest temperature. Do not iron it.

Can I use menstrual underwear alone, without additional protection?
Depending on your style, menstrual underwear can be a complete replacement for disposable menstrual hygiene products (pads, tampons, panty liners) or it can work in conjunction with them. It all depends on how heavy your bleeding is and what you find most comfortable.
How many pairs of menstrual panties do I need?
This depends on whether you use them alone or in combination with other menstrual hygiene products and how often you change them. We have menstrual panties for very heavy bleeding that can be used for up to 12 hours, but also those that absorb less and are often used as a complement to a cup. It is best to choose 2 or 3 pairs to start, see how it all works, and adjust the quantity to how often you will change them and be able to wash them.
Can they be used for urinary incontinence?
Yes. If you experience light urine leakage (e.g., when sneezing or jumping), you can use menstrual underwear to contain leaks. They are breathable, odor-resistant, super absorbent, leak-proof, stain-resistant, and wick moisture away from the skin to keep you comfortable all day. And if you have a more significant incontinence problem, we also have specific models.
Can they be used postpartum?
Yes, although the amount of blood lost after childbirth can vary greatly from person to person. You have two options: buy postpartum or very heavy bleeding panties and use only those, having several pairs so you have time to wash them; or buy panties with less absorbency and use them as additional protection during the first week, and then without added products.
How are they washed?
They can be hand or machine washed. Rinsing them in cold water before washing helps remove as much blood as possible and prevents stains. Then you can put them in the washing machine on a gentle cycle with cold water, and hang them to dry. Remember not to use fabric softener, as it reduces absorbency.
