CONSCIOUS BREATHING AGAINST STRESS

Conscious breathing, inhale, exhale, relax...

Breathing is a process that we do automatically from the moment we are born and through which we nourish the cells of our body with oxygen. And although it may seem obvious, if we do it in the right way we will be able to recharge ourselves with energy.

Conscious breathing can balance stress levels and improve our quality of life

CONSCIOUS BREATHING
Conscious breathing is much more than a fad in yoga studios and among mindfulness enthusiasts. It is known in these circles by its Sanskrit name, prÄ á¹‡Ä yÄ ma. The times can be used to achieve different impacts on our health; from calming us down to speeding up and improving memory.
THESE ARE SOME OF THE BENEFITS OF CONSCIOUS BREATHING
  • It is the key to our overall well-being.
  • It allows the mind and heart to relax, allowing us to control negative feelings that create conflict.
  • It allows us to stay focused, achieve our goals and make good decisions, at least if we do so in a stress-free state.
  • Promotes positive mentality
  • Improves oxygenation of the body, decreases muscle spasms, increases energy, reduces physical fatigue and increases energy.
  • It helps the body release toxins more effectively and helps us stay alert.
  • Regulates emotional stress
There are several exercises that can be done. Given the extraordinary situation of confinement, we are going to try to do a daily practice that helps us relax and stay positive.
BREATHING FOR SLEEPING WELL
Focus only on breathing. Find a place where you can be isolated and quiet and practice every day. With this practice you will be able to control stress and sleep better. It is recommended to repeat this exercise twice a day.
  • Place your tongue on the roof of your mouth just behind your teeth in the upper part of your mouth.
  • Inhale through your nose with your mouth closed and mentally count slowly to 4. Hold your breath for 7 seconds.
  • Exhale through your mouth, blocking the air exit with your lips, as if you were going to blow, for 8 seconds.
  • Repeat this exercise at least 4 times.
You can do it before going to sleep to wake up calm and early in the morning. You will wake up and start your daily activities with renewed energy. It may be difficult to optimize your timing at first. Think about filling your lungs and bringing the air to the lower part of your lungs. With practice, the anxiety of holding your breath and exhaling and inhaling anxiously will disappear and give way to conscious breathing and all its benefits.
